The Children and Youth Committee strives to work with community children of all ages.

-The 8th Period After School Program meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:10pm-5:00pm at the Tishomingo Middle School. It is a FREE tutoring/mentoring program aimed at 5th-9th graders. The program provides physical activity, an enrichment lesson, healthy snacks and homework time.

-Summer Arts and Health Camp is typically held towards the middle to end of June each summer. It is a weeklong camp with hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm 4 days a week and 8:00am to 3:00pm the last day of camp. There is a minimal fee to attend camp. It involves crafts, music, art, field trips and swimming for 8-12 year olds.

****Both activities utilize a number of adult and teenage volunteers. If you are interested in becoming involved please contact the numbers below.

-The Fall Carnival is held in late October with various civic groups providing games and booths. Monies from the Carnival help fund the After School Program and the Summer Camp. Each organization hosting a game booth keeps their own profits. If you are interested in having a booth please contact the numbers below.
