The Johnston County Farmers Market provides a place where Oklahoma farmers, ranchers, and gardeners can sell fresh Oklahoma grown produce and other agricultural products to consumers. The market operates from May 1st to November 1st. It is located on Main Street and N. Byrd. The main market day is Saturdays from 8am-noon. Products that may be sold include: fruits, vegetables, peanuts, pecans, nuts, eggs, firewood, bedding plants, vegetable plants, and flowers, home canned fruits and vegetables, honey, dairy products, baked goods or any other prepared foods (if made in a Certified Kitchen). Be sure to check with the local Health Department for licensing and regulations.
